Responding to the President’s remarks during the interview, Michael Blake released the following statement:
“I am humbled to be recognized by President Obama as a rising star in the Democratic Party as I run for Vice Chair of the DNC. Serving in the White House, working on both presidential campaigns, and welcoming the President to The Bronx for the launch of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance were among the greatest honors of my life. The President has led our country with great distinction over these past 8 years, and, I will always cherish his kind words.”
